Dozens of Magellanic penguins were killed in the middle of their breeding season after a man drove a bulldozer over an 800-meter road in the Punta Tombo Important Bird Area (AICA) in Chubut, Argentina.

There were presentations and a round table to discuss the challenges and opportunities in order to achieve effective and representative Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) systems.
