On December 6, 2023, the Forum presented the first publication of the Community of Practice and Learning in Marine Protected Areas, created within the framework of the Forum’s School of Managers for the Conservation of the Patagonian Sea and Areas of Influence. The presentation was through a free access virtual meeting.
This is the document “Community of Practice of the School of Management of Marine Protected Areas of the Southern Cone 2023 Recommendations for the Effective Management of Marine Protected Areas”.
The publication was co-constructed among the members of the EGAMP Community of Practice and Learning, made up of 60 professionals.
Summarizes case studies grouped into four axes: governance, monitoring, zoning and inspection; as well as lessons learned linked to the issues of Community members.
