Abstract for decision-makers on the representativeness of marine protected areas (MPAs).

It shows the need to include samples of all marine ecosystems and ecoregions in the MPAs of Argentina.

In the search for a sustainable future, a proposal is made for the new National Biodiversity Strategy. It also includes recommendations on protecting key areas, threatened species, strengthening the training of managers, and incorporating lines of research for MPA management.
